| The kindergarten classes at Parkside have a theme of a "All Aboard the Learning Express." Please visit our yearlong theme to see all of the exciting topics for the year.
During the year, we visit Par-Gil Tree Farm to learn about fire safety and trees from Smokey the Bear. We also visit the Black Pine Animal Park in Albion. We learn about animals and their proper care.
Some of the main areas of study are letters and sounds, sight words, rhyming words, reading and writing, number sense 0-20, and patterning.
