Welcome to Nappanee Elementary School!

Beginning on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 all Wa-Nee students will be dismissed 30 minutes earlier than the other four school days each week.

FOR 2011-2012, WEDNESDAY'S SCHEDULE FOR NES WILL BE:
8:40 AM – 2:45 PM

Many changes in public education were enacted by the 2011 legislative session and mandates from the Indiana Department of Education. The weekly early release time will provide all Wa-Nee teachers a consistent and scheduled time to plan for the implementation of these changes and mandates. These weekly “Collaboration Sessions” will focus on student achievement and improving instructional strategies in Wa-Nee classrooms.

Please make plans early for child care needs when your child(ren) arrive home 30 minutes early each Wednesday of the 2011-2012 school year.

At fall registration you will be asked to sign a document indicating the receipt of information regarding the early release.
