I love the crisp fall mornings, but this school year is going by too quickly for me! During the past month I visited several 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms to talk about organization. We had a demonstration about searching for items in an organized versus an unorganized backpack - there was a lot of truth amidst the laughter that this generated! Organization is a tool that serves us well throughout life!!

We are continuing to have many stars added to our Bucket Wall - that means many good feelings and deeds are flying around at Loper and we are filling buckets! You can read more about the bucket project on the Loper website.

This month is Drug Free month across the country and at Loper we will be celebrating being drug free the week of October 26, 2009! We will be having special dress up days each day that week! Watch the Bulldog Paws for the activities.

I will be sending out a monthly parenting newsletter in the Bulldog Paws each month and will be posting it to the website and my eboard as well. The website and the eboard will have a Spanish version as well available. Let me know if you are finding these useful!
