Hello and welcome to fourth grade at T.A. Hendrick’s Elementary. My name is Mrs. Gerline-Clagg, and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I am very excited to get to know all of my students. This will be a very exciting year for your child and a lot of life changes will be taking place. I am glad we can share this journey together.

Homework:

Students will need to do their Rocket Math sheet every night except Friday. Students will have a Vocabulary Packet that comes home on Monday and is due on Friday. Students will also have a Spelling Packet come home on Wednesday to finish and is due on Thursday.

Student needs to study their math facts every night. Whether that is rocketmath sheets or flash cards...every little bit helps!

Spelling tests happen on Wednesday and Friday. If a student receives 80% or lower on Wednesday, they must retake the test on Friday. If a student receives 81-99% they have the option to take it again to score a higher score.

And as always...read for 20 minutes a night! RAH sheets go home on Friday and are due the next Friday!
