Strike It Rich Bowling

The math that students learn in their regular classroom is also applied and reinforced in our Physical Education classroom. Here students count their scores using special bowling pins with dollar amounts.
Standing Long Jump

At the Standing Long Jump, students must measure and record their jumps. This involves using math skills in addition to developing leg strength. Students are challenged to jump farther than they are tall.
Locomotor Activities

Students use two different 12 sided die. One has dollar amounts and the other contains locomotor movements such as jumping, hopping, skipping, sliding and grapevine. If students can perform the locomotor movement, they receive the dollar amount on the other die. Scores are then tabulated and recorded.
