Important Information for Parents

****I do input grades once a week. Please be checking on your child's progress using the power school parent site. It is important that your child keep up with homework, so that they may understand each new concept we get to. ****

Covering Textbooks

***I prefer that the students cover their textbooks with a simple paperbag. If they bring in a bag, I will show them how to cover it during enrichment. If they do not have enrichment, we will make arrangements for another time. The stretchy covers that are sold in most stores do not protect the covers as well. They also can damage the book if they are tight (It pulls the covers back towards the binding and the binding is then loosened.) By covering the book, the student protects the book from damage going in and out of lockers and bookbags. The cover of course will not protect the book if it is dropped on the floor or in a puddle or if something is spilled on it.***
