The 3rd Grade class is taught by Mrs. Julie Abbs. In 3rd Grade, students are involved in a swimming program through the YMCA in Kendallville, pen pals with Avilla Elementary School, and Kids On The Block. A few of the field trips 3rd graders take are to the Planetarium at St. Francis College, McMillen Health Center, and the high school to see the East Noble Theater Production. New concepts intoduced in 3rd grade include multiplication facts, cursive handwriting, and letter grades.
