LaOtto Elementary School

LaOtto Elementary School is situated on the southern most boundary of East Noble School Corporation and just ten minutes north of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Its rural location provides families the opportunity to live in a small community, yet be close to amenities that large towns have to offer.

Our school has approximately 150 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school staff consists of one administrator, one full-time kindergarten teacher and literacy coordinator, five full-time classroom teachers, three itinerate special area teachers along with a part-time social worker, speech-language pathologist, special education teacher, and Reading Recovery teacher. The classified staff consists of six employees serving in the areas of media services, instructional assistance, food service, office support, health services, and custodial services.

LaOtto Elementary prides itself on high academic success, earning Indiana Department of Education's Four Star School status five of the last eight school years. Our school is also accredited by North Central Association Commision on Accreditation and School Improvement. This success is attributed to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and hard-working students.

Ongoing professional development keeps staff members abreast of current research surrounding best practice instruction. Staff members model lifelong learning by pursuing new teaching techniques and refining their instruction to better meet the needs of our students.
