BJHS Athletic Department

Welcome to the BJHS Athletic Department home page. BHJS currently offers 7 different sports: Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Cheerleading, and Dance. BJHS has 24 separate sports teams that compete at both the 7th and 8th grade levels which allows a variety of athletic opportunities for the students at BJHS.

PHYSICALS

ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL AND CODE OF CONDUCT ON FILE IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE OR TURNED INTO THEIR COACH PRIOR TO TRYOUTS. ATHLETES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRYOUT IF THE PHYSCICAL AND CODE OF CONDUCT HAS NOT BEEN TURNED IN.

PHYSICALS MUST BE DATED AFTER MAY 1st 2007 IN ORDER TO BE VALID FOR THE 2007-08 SCHOOL YEAR. ONCE THE PHYSCIAL AND CODE OF CONDUCT ARE ON FILE, YOUR CHILD CAN TRYOUT FOR ANY AND ALL SPORTS OFFERED AT BJHS.

Please use the links on the left to download a copy of the Physical and Code of Conduct forms. Please fill out all forms COMPLETELY!

You may also pick up a copy of the Physical and Code of Conduct forms in the main office at BJHS during school hours. If the school is closed, there will be forms available at the Warrick County School Corporation Central Office which is located in Boonville at 300 E. Gum St.

Tentative Tryout Dates

Football: Football equipment handout will be Monday July 30th at 6:00 pm. (Please bring a check payable to BJHS for $45.00 for your practice pack.) The first practice will be Wednesday August 1st at 5:00 pm.

Volleyball: 7th Grade August 13th-15th 3:15pm-4:45pm

8th Grade August 13th-15th 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Basketball: October 23rd

Wrestling: January 29th

Track: March 31st
