Special Education Teacher:

Mrs. Robin Dodson:
My name is Robin Dodson. I grew up in Granger, Indiana on a small horse farm. I moved to Nappanee when I started teaching special education in Wa-Nee 24 years ago. I graduated from Manchester College in 1984 with a degree in general education. I earned my Masters Degree in Special Education from IUSB in 1988. I love teaching and I find it very rewarding when my students get "caught up" with their peers.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Mike, and I have three boys that keep us very busy. I also enjoy gardening, camping, and relaxing at the lake.

Special Education Assistants:

Speech and Hearing:

Mrs. Whitney Rahn:
I feel very blessed to be given the opportunity to serve the Wanee Community Schools. I grew up not far from the area as I graduated high school from Westview. After high schooI, I spent one year at Huntington University before transferring to Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) to major in Speech Therapy. I just recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in May before being hired by ECSEC as a Speech Therapy Assistant. I look forward to my first year here at Nappanee under the supervision of Melodee Wilson. There are many things for me to learn and become accustomed to, but am very excited. I started my Master's degree this August from Western Kentucky and will finish that up in 2012. Until then, I will be a part of the speech duo made up of Melodee and I.

I recently married my best friend this summer. Jason and I met at Huntington and will be living in Middlebury upon his graduation from the police academy. We look forward to meeting more people and becoming a part of the community.
