Teachers:
Mr. Adam Binkley: Teaching was always in the "mix" for me as I was growing up with both of my parents having taught for the past 30+ years. I knew that Nappanee Elementary would be a perfect fit for myself after student teaching with Mrs. Sandy Mathews in 2002. I couldn't be more pleased with the atmosphere and faculty that I am now associated with here at Nappanee!
After graduating from Bethel College and finishing up my baseball career in 2002, I am still trying to hold onto the "glory days" as I coach High School Baseball at Bremen and play competitive Fastpitch Softball. Through baseball and softball I have had the opportunity to travel across the United States and Canada.
My wife, Leah, and I reside in Bremen with our daughter Macie who was born in 2006. Leah is also in education as she is currently teaching kindergarten at Bremen Elementary School. Together we enjoy fishing, mushroom hunting, traveling to fastpitch softball games, going to concerts, and staying active as much as possible…….of course that is easy to do with our daughter Macie! Leah and I both truly enjoy kids and look forward to our long careers in education as we do our best to prepare our students for a successful future! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me at abinkley@wanee.org.
Mrs. Ronda Harner: I am happy to be rejoining the staff here at Nappanee Elementary. I started my teaching career here in the fall of 2000. I have since taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten at Woodview and Wakarusa Elementary. I graduated from Indiana University of South Bend in December 1998, and received a Master's of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2004.
I live in Nappanee with my husband, Josh, a Nappanee Police Officer, and our three children, Bryce, Gracelyn, and Madelyn. We are the proud owners of three dogs, Ali, retired Police K-9, Toby, and our smallest and newest member, Snoopy. Our oldest child, Bryce is now at Nappanee Elementary with his sisters to follow in the years to come. I enjoy being here at school with my children and working a little closer to home.
Working with children everyday is always an adventure. There are no dull moments in teaching and I love it! Teaching 4th grade is a wonderful opportunity, and I look forward to the many years to come with my new classes and colleagues here at Nappanee Elementary.
I do enjoy getting to know the students each year and their families. So please, call me, email, or write me notes with questions or comments. Parent communication is very important to me. Let's make it a great experience for each child, by keeping each other well informed.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me at rharner@wanee.org.

Mrs. Brenna Sheets:
I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Nappanee Elementary students. My teaching career began in 1973 when I graduated from Manchester College with a Bachelors Degree in Education. After teaching in the South Bend Community School Corp. for two years I chose to stay home with my children for nine years. During that time I completed my Masters Degree from Ball State University. In 1983 I returned to teaching and joined the Wa-Nee School System.
It has been my pleasure to teach second grade and then fourth grade here in Nappanee.
My husband (Sam) and I enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me at bsheets@wanee.org.
