I want to say thank you to everyone who participated in the art fair. It was a huge success and I was so proud of the children and their work. I also wanted to thank Wakarusa Elementary for a wonderful trimester in art. I am constantly amazed by all of the beautiful artwork that is created. It’s such a joy to be in the classroom with all of your children. I can’t wait to come back next school year.

A Note from Mrs. Streib I am the computer clerk here at Wakarusa Elementary School. I work with every class here at WES at least once a week and sometimes twice. We emphasize computer skills while working in context with classroom learning, test preparation and keyboarding. Keyboarding is started as early as 2nd grade. In the upper level classes, extra keyboarding time is regularly scheduled. I am also in charge of this website and other computer concerns here at Waky.
