About Me
My name is Heather Kamplain. This is my third full year teaching at Hendricks Elementary and I couldn't be more excited. This is a great school complete with great administrators, teachers, and students.
I graduated in 2005 from Ball State University with a degree in Special Education. I love teaching students with special needs. I think I have the best job in the world! Not a day goes by that my students don't teach me something new, and I always go home with a smile on my face and a funny story to tell.
About My Family
My husband Josh and I were married on January 21, 2006. My husband is the business manager for Acra Automotive in Greensburg. We bought a house here in Shelbyville about two years ago. We have a dog named Dudley that we adopted from the animal shelter, he is the best dog!
I have one sister that is a Registered Nurse in the ER at Major Hospital.
I am very close to my mom and step-dad, they are an important part of my life.
The most important thing...
The most important thing my mom taught me was to value education. From a very small age my mom encouraged me to read and enjoy learning.
I hope that we can work together this year to help your children develop a love of learning too.
